Mr. Kimbrell, an associate with the firm, is from Nashville, Georgia. He graduated from the University of Georgia in 2021 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Risk Management and Insurance. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School in 2025, thereafter passing the July 2025 Georgia Bar Exam.
While completing his legal studies, Mr. Kimbrell focused his coursework and practical training on bankruptcy, insurance, and financial law. He was an active member of the W. Homer Drake, Jr. Bankruptcy Inn of Court and the Corporate and Business Law Society, where he gained exposure to emerging issues in insolvency, creditor-debtor relations, and financial regulation. He also served as a research assistant on projects involving income taxation and unrealized gains, developing a detailed understanding of statutory interpretation and financial structure.
Before and during law school, Mr. Kimbrell developed a strong background in insurance, business management, and client relations. His prior experience in business development taught him to approach legal matters with both professionalism and empathy. Qualities he continues to bring to his client-focused practice today.
Mr. Kimbrell and his wife reside in Alapaha with their twin children. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with his family, helping out on the farm, and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs and Atlanta Braves.
